Supporting Wellbeing And Mental Health (SWAM Health)

Supporting wellbeing and mental health course

This is a page for our supporting wellbeing and mental health course (SWAM Health project). This is a Lottery-funded 12‑month programme supporting young people (18–28) and Individuals with Diverse Cognitive profiles (IDC profile) to build wellbeing, confidence and job readiness while gaining a City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Supporting Wellbeing and Mental Health of Self and Others.

While our aim is younger individuals, this programme is also open to anyone who is interested. It is a completely free programme, there is no cost to you.

About the project

Our supporting wellbeing and mental health course – SWAM Health delivers a practical, inclusive programme of workshops, coaching and support designed for young people whose ways of thinking, learning or processing information differ from the typical norm. The project places personal development and mental health at the heart of learning, helping participants to manage stress, build resilience and support others.

Format: We will have five cohorts over 12 months; one cohort every two months.

Cohort size: 10 participants per cohort.
