We are happy to announce our new Lottery funding project Supporting Wellbeing And Mental Health (SWAM Health).
We will be delivering Supporting Wellbeing and Mental Health (SWAM Health), a 12‑month programme designed to equip people aged 18+, particularly those with protected characteristics and Individuals with Diverse Cognitive Profiles (IDC profiles), with the skills, confidence, and recognised qualifications to thrive in education, employment, and community life.
The project will run across five cohorts, each supporting ten participants, and will lead to the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Supporting Wellbeing and Mental Health of Self and Others. Through four days of practical workshops, activities, coaching, peer engagement, and revision support, participants will gain a practical wellbeing toolkit, build resilience, and develop confidence. This approach places personal development and wellbeing at the heart of learning. A summary of the contents for the 4 days:
- Tai Chi to improve Wellbeing and Mental Health
- Foundations of wellbeing and mental health.
- Building resilience and emotional strength.
- Supporting others and creating Safe Spaces.
- Confidence, integration, and assessment preparation and test (via C&G portal)
